We've missed the work, not the mishaps.

Over lockdown we missed a lot of things about work. From the banter at smoko, to your favourite barista coffee or even just the company of your team. What we didn’t miss was having our workmates, friends and whānau being hurt or killed at work.

So as we get back to the job it’s important to remind yourself of the things that could put our health and safety at risk. Remember to keep an eye out for risks and look out for one another. Let’s make sure we all get home healthy and safe.

Returning to work?

Final 01 1 v2

Tips for workers

  • Take time to get back into the swing of things. After a few weeks off work we can get a bit rusty. Ease back into the job and get it done right.
  • Feeling pressure to make up for lost time over lockdown? Don’t cut corners. Take the right steps to protect your health and safety.
  • Remember to speak up if you see something unsafe. You could save someone’s life.
